The University of Santo Tomas (UST) will shift to online classes and remote work on September 9 for the administration of the 2026 Bar examinations, according to a report by the school’s official publication.
The Varsitarian reported that the enriched virtual mode of instruction will cover the Senior High School, Junior High School, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Arts and Letters, citing the Office of the Secretary General.
Several buildings inside the school’s España campus will be declared a controlled area during the examination days on September 6, 9, and 13, the report added.
The UST Hospital, the carpark, and the Santísimo Rosario Parish are among the few buildings within the campus that will be allowed to operate during the examination days.
The 2026 Bar Examinations will be conducted in 15 testing centers nationwide, with seven located in the National Capital Region (NCR), three in Luzon, three in the Visayas, and two in Mindanao.
The Supreme Court said 14,291 applicantshave registered for the 2026 Bar Examinations, the highest number in the history of the Bar Exams.—Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA News
