Adobe has acquired Indian marketing intelligence startup Rilo as the software company seeks to strengthen its artificial intelligence tools for marketing and customer-experience workflows.
The transaction involves the acquisition of Rilo’s team and the licensing or integration of its technology. Financial terms were not disclosed. Rilo’s six-member team is expected to join Adobe, while the startup will close its existing service to customers.
Founded in 2025 by Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan, Rilo developed tools that allowed sales and marketing teams to automate tasks including competitor research, content distribution and analysis of sales calls. The startup had raised $1m from investors at a reported $10m valuation before the acquisition.
The deal gives Adobe additional technology as software companies race to automate marketing operations using generative AI. It is Adobe’s second acquisition involving an Indian startup after its purchase of video-generation company Rephrase.ai in 2023.
