King Abdulaziz International Airport Achieves Two Global Accreditations
King Abdulaziz International Airport has secured two global certifications from Airports Council International (ACI) World, acknowledging its performance in passenger experience and public health and safety protocols. The facility attained Level 4 Airport Customer Experience (CX) Accreditation, a milestone shared by only a dozen airports worldwide. The honor was conferred during a ceremony in Istanbul, Turkiye, where Jeddah Airports (JEDCO) Chief Executive Mazen Johar accepted the award.
The review process examined eight distinct domains: customer insight, strategic planning, performance metrics, operational enhancements, governance structures, organizational culture, service design and innovation, and engagement with airport partners. In addition, the airport was granted Public Health and Safety Readiness (PHSR) Accreditation, underscoring its alignment with globally recognized health and safety benchmarks.
JEDCO stated that these recognitions underscore its dedication to elevating passenger services, implementing international standards, and fostering closer collaboration among all parties operating at the airport. These efforts are designed to create a more seamless and forward-thinking travel experience for all users.
