September 9, 2026 – Global talent solutions provider Wilson has named Spiro Papanicolaou as chief marketing officer. Reporting directly to CEO Jean-Francois Vezina, Mr. Papanicolaou will lead Wilson’s global marketing and revenue operations, with accountability for go-to-market strategy, demand generation, brand, and commercial performance across the business. “As we continue shaping the future of Wilson, marketing leadership will be critical to how we strengthen our market position, deepen our client relationships, and accelerate growth,” Mr. Vezina said. “Spiro brings a unique combination of strategic vision, global experience, and commercial expertise that will help us take our go-to-market approach to the next level. We’re excited to have him join our leadership team.”
The appointment comes as Wilson continues to invest in its commercial capabilities and build on its recognition as a leader in Everest Group’s 2026 Global RPO Services PEAK Matrix Assessment. “Papanicolaou’s focus reflects Wilson’s conviction that sustainable growth in the enterprise talent solutions market requires a commercial model where marketing, revenue operations, sales, and delivery work as one unified system to generate, convert, grow, and retain enterprise client relationships,” the company said.
The appointment also reflects Wilson’s investment in a more integrated commercial model, bringing marketing, revenue operations, and client intelligence closer together to strengthen how the company attracts, wins, and grows enterprise client relationships.
As enterprise buyers become more sophisticated and the talent solutions market continues to evolve, Wilson is building the commercial capabilities needed to support its continued growth and deepen its relationships with clients, the company explained. Mr. Papanicolaou will play a central role in bringing greater alignment across the company’s go-to-market activities, connecting market insight, demand generation, brand, pipeline development, and client growth through a more integrated commercial approach.
Mr. Papanicolaou brings two decades of marketing leadership in the talent solutions and workforce services sector. He has built a career defining how organizations in this sector go to market, generate enterprise pipeline, and build the commercial infrastructure that connects brand to revenue. His experience spans brand transformation, demand generation, account-based marketing, revenue operations, and go-to-market execution across North American and global markets. Mr. Papanicolaou formerly served as chief marketing officer for North American at Randstad.
“I am joining Wilson at a moment when the RPO and talent solutions market is fundamentally shifting,” Mr. Papanicolaou said “Enterprise buyers are more discerning, more informed, and more selective than they have ever been. Wilson has what it takes to lead in that environment: Everest Group recognition, a global delivery model, and deep practitioner expertise that most competitors cannot match.”
“My goal is to bring those strengths together in a go-to-market approach that is as differentiated and disciplined as the business we are taking to market,” Mr. Papanicolaou continued. “We have an opportunity to build a stronger connection between how Wilson creates value for clients and how we communicate, demonstrate, and turn that value into lasting partnerships. I am here to help build that connection, and I am looking forward to doing that with this team.”
Wilson provides executive search services focused on recruiting leadership talent for organizations across a range of industries and functions. Its offerings include retained executive search for director-level and senior leadership positions, interim executive search for temporary or project-based leadership needs, and project search solutions designed to support larger-scale hiring initiatives involving multiple senior-level appointments. Wilson also provides market intelligence services, including talent mapping, workforce supply and demand analysis, succession planning support, and compensation benchmarking, to help organizations assess leadership markets and inform talent acquisition strategies.
During the summer, Wilson appointed Mr. Vezina as CEO and to lead the next phase of growth and innovation. “It was important to me that the company be entrusted to a leader who understands both where our industry is headed and what has made Wilson successful,” said John Wilson, founder. “Jean-Francois brings exceptional expertise, a strong track record of growth and transformation, and a deep commitment to people. I have full confidence in his ability to lead Wilson forward.”
Mr. Vezina joined Wilson with more than two decades of experience in talent solutions, workforce strategy, and business transformation. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing teams, driven significant business growth, and helped organizations navigate change while maintaining a strong focus on people, culture, and client success.
“The next era of competitive advantage will not be defined by access to technology alone,” said Mr. Vezina. “It will be defined by an organization’s ability to continuously attract, develop, and redeploy talent faster than the pace of change.”
