Involved Media has promoted Cristina Spizzica to business intelligence director, putting its AI adoption strategy under the same leader responsible for the agency’s business intelligence capabilities.
Spizzica will lead the independent media agency’s AI initiatives and drive adoption across the business, building on the intelligence infrastructure she has spent the past five years developing.
Involved Media general manager Dan Hojnik said the approach was designed to embed AI into the agency’s existing operations rather than treat the technology as a standalone project.
“Cristina has spent five years building our business intelligence capability into something the whole business relies on, and that foundation is what makes AI adoption real rather than theoretical,” Hojnik said.
“Agencies that treat AI as a separate initiative tend to end up with pilots. We would rather build it on intelligence infrastructure that already works.”
Spizzica joined Involved Media in 2021 as a digital strategist. She previously worked at EssenceMediacom as digital investment manager and at 3 Phase Marketing.
The agency has also promoted Beth Giles to senior account manager and Haylee Wyld to account executive.
“I am also delighted to announce two very well-deserved promotions,” Hojnik said.
“Both Beth and Haylee have made an enormous impact on our clients’ businesses and on the success of our team.
“Their individual achievements are impressive, but together they have helped deliver outstanding results across key clients, including strong sales outcomes for our clients Anytime Fitness, CAANZ and R U OK?.”
All three appointments are effective immediately.
Involved Media’s client roster includes Anytime Fitness, Hertz, Thrifty Car Rentals, CareSuper, Fever-Tree, Stanley Black & Decker, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and BetterHelp.
