Douzone Bizon has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to cooperate on digital transformation and digital economy development. The two sides agreed to collaborate on digitalizing business activities, establishing digital linkages between enterprises and tax authorities, and building a digital ecosystem based on AI, cloud, and data technologies. Douzone Bizon plans to apply its cooperation model to the Kyrgyz Republic’s tax administration digital transformation, drawing on its experience building South Korea’s electronic tax invoice and tax/accounting systems, as well as its track record on the KOICA Philippines tax e-government project. The company intends to leverage this agreement as a cooperation channel for digital transformation projects across the Central Asia region.
Key Elements
Douzone Bizon has established a foothold for entering the Central Asian digital transformation market by partnering with the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan). The company plans to cooperate on digital transformation of corporate and tax administration in the Kyrgyz Republic, leveraging its experience in South Korea building enterprise digitalization and tax system integration.
The company announced on the 22nd that it signed a bilateral cooperation MOU on “digital transformation and digital economy development” with the Kyrgyz Republic’s National Investment Agency on the 21st at Douzone Eulji Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul. Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, and Ji Yong-gu, co-CEO of Douzone Bizon, attended the signing ceremony.
Through this agreement, the two sides will share digital transformation experience and expertise, and cooperate on digitalizing business activities, establishing digital linkages between enterprises and tax authorities, and creating a digital ecosystem utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and data technologies. They also plan to promote joint training programs and events, and will establish and operate separate cooperation bodies such as working groups as needed.
The core area of cooperation is building tax administration infrastructure that digitally connects enterprises and tax authorities. Douzone Bizon has long built digital infrastructure connecting businesses and institutions based on tax accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP). In South Korea, the company has accumulated tax digitalization experience by creating an environment where corporate accounting and tax data—including electronic tax invoices—are linked to taxation administration.
The company also has a track record in building overseas tax administration systems. Douzone Bizon participated in the Philippines tax e-government construction project led by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), building a tax administration platform (EIS). The company plans to develop cooperation models that can apply this experience to the Kyrgyz Republic’s tax administration environment.
The Kyrgyz Republic’s National Investment Agency is a presidential agency responsible for investment attraction and international cooperation. Douzone Bizon plans to use this agreement as a cooperation channel for digital transformation projects in the Central Asia region. The company has recently been expanding into the AI transformation (AX) space by offering enterprise work environments that combine ERP and AI.
Co-CEO Ji Yong-gu said, “The Kyrgyz Republic is a country actively pursuing digital transformation, and there are many points of contact where Douzone Bizon can cooperate in areas where we have strengths, such as enterprise digitalization and digital tax administration integration.” He added, “Starting with this agreement, we will work to develop concrete cooperation models that benefit both countries.”
Based on this agreement, Douzone Bizon plans to identify specific cooperation initiatives to apply to the Kyrgyz Republic’s digital economy transformation. With digital transformation demand growing in Central Asia, the company aims to expand local cooperation opportunities through this agreement.
