Community Jameel Saudi and NTDP Sign Strategic Agreement at LEAP 2026
At LEAP 2026, the Middle East’s premier technology gathering, the Community Jameel Saudi Foundation and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) formalized a strategic collaboration. This alliance is intended to reinforce the Kingdom’s tech, innovation, and startup landscape by speeding up the progress of domestic tech ventures and broadening their reach to vital development schemes, funding mechanisms, and advisory services.
Through this pact, the two entities will work together to share mentoring know-how, organize co-branded events, and boost sector-wide visibility of available growth routes. A central emphasis is placed on championing NTDP offerings, notably the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Development Support initiative, which extends financial backing and focused assistance to qualifying founders.
The scope of this partnership encompasses every entrepreneurial program run by Community Jameel Saudi, such as the Start Smart Saudi Competition, the Jameel Deep Tech Initiative, and the Start Smart Universities Challenge.
Dr. May Taibah, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Community Jameel Saudi, emphasized that this agreement underscores the foundation’s dedication to nurturing innovators and propelling the scale-up of tech startups. By merging capabilities with NTDP, she explained, the effort promotes deeper connectivity across the technology sector and guarantees that promising enterprises receive the organized backing and know-how needed to grow.
Mohammed Abdulgaffar, Director of Initiatives at Community Jameel Saudi, highlighted that collaboration between governmental and non-profit spheres is crucial for fostering a robust innovation environment. He noted that this partnership pools resources to deliver practical support for tech entrepreneurs, spanning from initial concept validation to later-stage growth, and directly supports Saudi Vision 2030’s ambition of cultivating an innovation-led, knowledge-driven economy spearheaded by domestic talent.
