Snowflake Adds Value To AI Chain
Sansoterra highlighted Snowflake as an example of a company that has successfully adapted its business to the AI boom.
Snowflake initially focused on helping companies manage data separately from computing infrastructure. However, the company has increasingly shifted its platform toward AI-driven workloads, he told CNBC.
That shift is helping customers manage and analyze data more efficiently while reducing traditional data silos. Sansoterra said the benefits become particularly important for AI models and major cloud computing platforms.
He pointed to Snowflake’s recent growth as evidence that the strategy is gaining traction.
“These companies that can find a spot in the AI chain or add real value like a Snowflake” can benefit from the rapidly changing technology landscape, Sansoterra said.

Cybersecurity Becomes More Critical
Sansoterra also sees cybersecurity playing an increasingly important role as AI models become more powerful and widely available.
He said companies have a growing responsibility to manage data safely as AI technology evolves. That backdrop supports the investment case for cybersecurity companies such as CrowdStrike.
Still, Sansoterra cautioned that the AI landscape is changing quickly. Investors should understand the companies they own and balance businesses carrying high expectations with those facing lower expectations.
For Sansoterra, the key is whether those companies can continue beating expectations as AI spending expands.
