Walmart E-Commerce Sales Surge 23% in Q2 2026
Walmartreported a surge in e-commerce sales for the second quarter, according to its earnings release on Thursday. The company’s global e-commerce sales rose 23%, driven by store-fulfilled pickup and delivery and its online marketplace. In the U.S., e-commerce sales increased 24%, with strength in store-fulfilled delivery, advertising, and marketplace.
Walmart President and CEO John Furner attributed the online growth to customers responding to the retailer’s price, speed, and convenience. He noted that the company’s multi-year e-commerce growth indicates customers are choosing Walmart for these benefits across a broad assortment. Furner also said that at Walmart, customers can have it all.
Sam’s Club U.S., a major division of Walmart, saw e-commerce sales rise 26%, driven by continued growth in club-fulfilled pickup and delivery. Walmart International also posted strong e-commerce growth, with sales up 19%, supported by store-fulfilled pickup and delivery.
