Walmart debuts Walmart+ membership pricing deal with Sam’s Club
Walmart is now offering a joint membership option that combines Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus that can save shoppers $100 compared to separate memberships.
The bundle is $120 a year, which is effectively the price of Sam’s Club membership which costs $120 alone, according to a press release.
The joint option provides shopping access to Walmart and Sam’s Club with free delivery from both (order minimums $35 for Walmart and $50 for Sam’s Club), as well as a Peacock or Paramount+ subscription and gas savings.
Employees at both companies are being offered the joint membership as a job perk, according to a Seeking Alpha report.
“For $120 a year, we’re raising expectations for what a membership can deliver: more money in their pockets and more time to call their own,” Walmart CEO John Furner said in the release.
