The MRL Group (asi/258137) is reinventing itself.
The Fort Lauderdale, FL-distributor and 2026 Counselor Best Place to Work has relaunched its brand with a new website, executive staff updates and an updated marketing operations platform.
Over the last few months, The MRL Group has refreshed its logo and introduced more cohesive visual branding. This refreshed look and feel, which also includes a new-and-improved web presence, represents a new chapter for the 23-plus-year-old agency.
As part of this brand evolution is the onboarding of several leadership hires, representing “broader expertise, deeper industry experience and more on-the-ground commercial understanding,”
Derek Peoples, vice president of creative services, joins The MRL Group with 30 years of product development and brand storytelling experience. He comes to MRL from Counselor Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431) and previously developed consumer products for Disney Consumer Products, Goorin Bros. and Claire’s.
Carolyn Boehm Stanton, vice president of production, brings 35 years of experience across production, operations and procurement. Her career includes leadership roles at Bish (asi/140452), BAMKO and Constellation Brands.
Juan Fonseca, vice president of commercial enablement, joins The MRL Group from Constellation Brands, where he managed field marketing and promotions. He brings more than 25 years of commercial and field marketing experience to the role.
The MRL Group is also introducing a series of marketing operations enhancements to its proprietary “SmartBuy” platform, which it’s calling SmartBuy 2.0. The goal is to better connect project management, ordering, logistics and reporting into a single ecosystem
The MRL Group adds that despite its expanded capabilities, the firm’s core values remain unchanged. “We have always been an agency built on relationships first,” said Michael Levitt, president at The MRL Group and a 2017 Counselor Distributor Salesperson of the Year finalist. “Our commitment to doing the right thing for our clients has gotten us where we are; this refreshed vision and the work behind it will carry us to the next level.”
The MRL Group is a marketing execution agency with solutions that include custom displays, influencer kits, print and signage, and promo. The company was recently honored at the 2026 Shop! Outstanding Merchandising Achievement Awards, which recognize excellence in retail display innovation, shopper engagement and point-of-purchase execution.
