TikTok is giving Shoplazza a place in two parts of its agentic commerce push, linking AI-assisted advertising with in-app shopping.
The Canadian commerce platform appears on both TikTok’s June 30 Agentic Hub roster and its October 5 Buy Direct partner list.
No other company is named on both published lists.
This comes as TikTok works to shorten the path from product discovery to purchase.
Buy Direct supports in-app checkout, while Shopping Assistant answers questions about products, shipping, sizing, and availability.

The new features address friction at two points in the shopping journey.
“As platforms automate more decisions, performance increasingly depends on how well data, creative and checkout work together,” Chao Xu, director at Shoplazza, said in a press release.
“TikTok’s new shopping experiences make it easier to buy while interest is fresh, helping merchants turn that interest into revenue and use each transaction to inform smarter marketing decisions.”
The brand partnership puts Shoplazza in a position to connect advertising workflows with purchase activity.
Both shopping features are still in eligibility-based testing, with no date set for Shoplazza merchant availability.
Shoplazza Connects TikTok Ads With In-App Shopping
TikTok introduced Agentic Hub on June 30, listing Shoplazza among 14 named partners with published AI Skills.
The AI tools support advertising tasks such as campaign management, creative optimization, performance analysis, and catalog management.
TikTok’s October 5 announcement named Shoplazza alongside Salesforce, Shopify, and Stripe as partners for Buy Direct and Shopping Assistant.
Shopping Assistant helps shoppers make decisions, while Buy Direct shortens the final steps to purchase.
TikTok says that Buy Direct also lets shoppers purchase directly from a brand within the app.
Meanwhile, Shopping Assistant handles product questions through conversational AI.
Shoppers can check product details and other purchase information before continuing toward checkout.
“The result is a win-win,” TikTok’s October announcement stated.
“Shoppers enjoy a faster, more secure shopping experience, while brands see improved conversion rates while also remaining the Merchant of Record for transactions.”
Shoplazza already supports catalog syncing, TikTok Pixel, and Events API setup through its merchant admin.
The company also introduced AI Skills that connect store data and business insights with TikTok advertising tools.
All in all, the company partnership links campaign intelligence to the infrastructure that merchants use to sell products.
TikTok’s Growing Commerce Push Comes With Measurable Demand
Published figures suggest TikTok already influences purchasing behavior, giving its new commerce tools a substantial audience to serve.
TikTok’s 2026 economic impact announcement cites a report by PF Global.
It estimates that businesses using TikTok contributed $81 billion to U.S. GDP in 2025.
The report also found that 54 million Americans purchased a product after watching a TikTok video.
TikTok’s June 30 announcement also reported a more than 200% increase in advertisers using its MCP for campaign activation and management.
These figures establish the commercial context for TikTok’s push, but Shoplazza’s impact on the platform has yet to be determined.
Three lessons follow from the data and the product announcements.
- Discovery can create purchase intent. Merchants should connect product content with relevant buying options to convert interest into sales.
- Automation depends on connected data. Teams should link catalog, advertising, and transaction signals to improve campaign decisions.
- Checkout friction can interrupt demand. Retailers should reduce unnecessary steps to help interested shoppers complete purchases.
Agentic commerce will need to prove that shorter journeys generate incremental sales to validate Shoplazza’s integration on TikTok.
Our Take: Does Shoplazza’s Integration Give It an Edge?
Shoplazza’s advantage will depend on how quickly merchants can use its existing advertising tools alongside TikTok’s new checkout infrastructure.
Salesforce’s October 5 announcement outlines a native TikTok connection, with ads catalog-feed syncing and measurement signals still on its roadmap.
Salesforce expects to start rolling out checkout on Universal Commerce Protocol, Google’s open standard, in the first quarter of 2027.
We’d give Shoplazza a real edge here, since its merchant admin already runs the catalog syncing, Pixel, and Events API setup Salesforce is building.
That edge covers the ad side, since neither company has said when Buy Direct reaches Shoplazza merchants or which ones qualify.
If checkout access and transaction data stay limited, appearing on both partner lists may amount to a credential and little else.
The next milestone is live merchant adoption, backed by conversion data that separates new sales from ones that would have happened anyway.
As TikTok expands its commerce and advertising services, platform restrictions can complicate how brands reach shoppers across social channels.
Meta’s TikTok ad ban hit campaigns in seven countries, where blocked placements expose the risks of relying on platforms that control ad distribution.
ECommerce brands evaluating connected storefronts, advertising, and checkout tools can explore these eCommerce development agencies to assess integration options.
