Amman, Jordan – Airport International Group (AIG), the Jordanian company operating Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), has received two recognitions from Airports Council International (ACI) World for its continued efforts to enhance customer experience and accessibility at Jordan’s gateway to the world. AIG was formally recognized for its achievements this year during the ACI World Airport Experience Summit 2026, held from 31 August to 4 September in Istanbul, Türkiye.
QAIA achieved the ACI Customer Experience Accreditation Level 4 in May 2026, recognizing the integration of customer experience into the airport’s culture and the collective role of employees and stakeholders in understanding and continuously improving the passenger journey. The accreditation reflects AIG’s structured and sustainable approach to customer experience management.
Following that, AIG achieved the Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation Level 1 in July 2026, recognizing its commitment to advancing accessibility at QAIA and strengthening an inclusive passenger experience. The accreditation provides a framework for enhancing accessibility across infrastructure, operations, technology and customer service, in line with international best practices.
Nicolas Deviller, CEO of Airport International Group, said, “These recognitions reflect the standards we have set for ourselves at AIG and the way we continue to evolve the airport experience at QAIA. Our role is to anticipate the constant changes in passenger expectations and translate them into meaningful improvements across the passenger journey, while ensuring that every passenger experiences QAIA as a place that feels like home. We are proud of these achievements, while remaining focused on creating an airport experience that is increasingly seamless, inclusive and responsive to the needs of every passenger.”
The two achievements add to AIG’s growing record of international recognition for its efforts to enhance passenger experience and service quality at QAIA. They also reinforce AIG’s ongoing focus on developing an airport experience that responds to the evolving expectations of passengers while supporting QAIA’s role as a key gateway to Jordan.
It is worth noting that the ACI World Airport Experience Summit brought together more than 800 airport executives, customer experience experts and industry professionals from around the world, providing a global platform for the exchange of expertise and best practices shaping the future of airport experience. AIG’s recognition at the Summit placed these achievements within the broader international conversation around passenger-centric airport operations.
