Nishant Jain has joined Hitachi Digital as Vice President, moving from GlobalLogic, where he most recently served as Vice President of Engineering. With 27 years of experience across technology and engineering, Jain has worked on large-scale digital transformation programmes, product development and client delivery across multiple geographies. His appointment adds an experienced technology leader to Hitachi Digital’s leadership team as organisations continue to invest in digital capabilities and complex technology solutions.

GlobalLogic Leadership Tenure
Jain spent more than nine years at GlobalLogic across multiple leadership roles. He served as Vice President of Engineering from October 2025 to November 2026, having previously held the position of Associate Vice President from January 2021 to September 2025. Before that, he was Director of Engineering from October 2017 to January 2021.

During his career, Jain has managed large, multi-year digital transformation programmes involving multiple channels, devices, content platforms, collaboration and commerce solutions. His responsibilities have included programme delivery, account growth, resource planning and managing distributed teams.

Experience Across Technology Firms
Before his latest move, Jain worked at Accenture as Senior Manager – Portfolio and Delivery Management between August 2015 and October 2017. His responsibilities included digital transformation initiatives, business development, solution design and client engagement. He also advised senior executives on digital strategies and roadmaps.

From April 2012 to August 2015, Jain worked at SapientNitro as Senior Manager – Programme Management, overseeing digital marketing and e-commerce projects. His work included platform development, project budgeting, resource allocation and delivery management.

Earlier, he spent nearly eight years at GlobalLogic as Senior Project Manager, working across telecom, travel and mobile commerce. His broader career experience also includes roles at Ericsson and Wipro, with responsibilities spanning product design, development and deployment.

Programme Delivery Expertise
Jain has experience managing technology engagements across the US, Europe and India. His areas of expertise include digital strategy, profit and loss management, risk analysis, stakeholder communication and building multidisciplinary teams. He has also worked with Waterfall and distributed Agile delivery models.

His professional credentials include a Post Graduate Programme in Management from Sunstone Business School, Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute and Certified Scrum Master training.
