Maruti Suzuki India on Monday said it has onboarded five startups to co-develop solutions across battery recycling, artificial intelligence and business process automation as part of its innovation and startup collaboration programme.The company has partnered with MiniMines, Easework AI, Sarvam AI, Siftly and CodeMate AI, which were selected under the fifth cohort of the Maruti Suzuki Incubation Programme (MSIP), conducted in partnership with NSRCEL, the startup incubation hub of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.According to the company’s statement, MiniMines will develop environment-friendly recycling solutions for end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, while Easework AI will automate procurement workflows using agentic AI. Sarvam AI will build multilingual generative AI agents to improve customer interactions, Siftly will support brand visibility through generative AI, and CodeMate AI will develop AI-powered tools to accelerate software development.“At Maruti Suzuki, we have been actively working with startups to co-create innovative and practical solutions to address real business challenges.
