Luma strengthens AI information security with AI-specific certification in addition to existing HITRUST r2, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, and TX-RAMP certifications
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Luma Health, the Operational AI platform for healthcare, has earned the new HITRUST AI Security Certification (ai2). Luma is committed to the highest possible security standards for healthcare AI, and maintains ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, and renewed HITRUST CSF r2 certifications in addition to the new HITRUST ai2 certification.
HITRUST r2 Certification is one of the most comprehensive and widely recognized assessments of information security available. HITRUST’s AI Security Certification (ai2) extends that same level of scrutiny to artificial intelligence systems, assessing the security of AI model usage, training and tuning practices, and related infrastructure against risks specific to AI-enabled environments. By achieving both certifications, Luma Health has validated the security of its core platform and AI capabilities.
“With AI rapidly transforming how healthcare is delivered, our longstanding commitment to information security holds more importance than ever,” said Denis Savenko, Head of Information Security and IT at Luma. “Our customers trust Luma’s AI with key operational processes. We’re dedicated to rigorous excellence in security, and continue to validate that with the best security frameworks available.”
In addition to achieving HITRUST’s AI Security Certification and renewing its HITRUST CSF r2 certification, Luma Health is also ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 attested. The company’s information security and compliance function comprises a dedicated in-house team and a fully documented set of policies, procedures and controls that are independently audited no less than annually by a third party to ensure they are operating effectively.
