Michael Edwards, Little Caesars Pizza VP, Global Data & Analytics
Little Caesars Pizza has named Michael Edwards Vice President, Global Data & Analytics. In the role, Edwards leads the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise data and analytics capabilities across a global organization, with responsibility for Data & Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Data Governance.
Edwards joins Little Caesars Pizza from United Wholesale Mortgage, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Data & AI. In that role, he led enterprise AI strategy, worked to stabilize and mature shared services, and built a generative AI team and company agnostic-AI platform. Previously, he served as Vice President, Enterprise Data, where he modernized the company’s data infrastructure, centralized data into a cloud-based data lakehouse, and built the data team to 100.
Earlier in his career, Edwards served as Director and Manager, Software Development at Improvement Path Systems, where he helped the company mature from an analytics-only consulting firm into a product-based analytics company and was promoted to build its software group and develop products for the U.S. Departments of the Army and Navy. He began his career as a Solution Architect at New World Systems, now Tyler Technologies, where he developed a business intelligence platform that was adopted by more than 100 companies.
Announcing the move in a LinkedIn post, Edwardsshared, “I’ve always believed that the most impactful analytics organizations aren’t defined by technology, but by the people who use data to drive better outcomes and the culture it creates.” He added, “That’s what makes this opportunity so exciting.”
