Hanwha Group’s financial affiliates will hold a global finance conference in New York in November, bringing together financial industry leaders and aspiring professionals to discuss how artificial intelligence and technological change are reshaping finance and the skills required in the industry.
PLUS, the joint brand of Hanwha’s financial affiliates, has opened applications for PLUS NY 2026, which will take place at The Glasshouse in Manhattan on Nov. 13.
Under the theme “The New Finance Frontier,” this year’s event will explore how AI, shifts in global capital and market disruptions are reshaping the financial industry, as well as how future finance professionals can build their own competitive edge amid those changes.
Now in its fourth year, the event has expanded its focus from networking and global career development to broader discussions on changes in finance, investment and professional roles driven by AI and technological innovation. The event has also been renamed from LIFEPLUS NY to PLUS NY.
Executives and industry professionals from global firms including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Blackstone are set to participate in the conference. Sessions will cover financial leadership amid change, AI adoption by traditional financial institutions and developments involving emerging fund managers, venture capital and startups.
The program will also include career Q&A sessions with investment banking, private equity and venture capital professionals, as well as a career fair and mentoring on women’s leadership, personal branding and AI use in finance.
The conference is expected to draw around 750 participants and is open to Korean and Asian university students in the Americas. Applications are open through Sept. 21.
“AI and technological innovation are changing not only financial products and investment methods, but also the capabilities required of finance professionals,” a Hanwha Finance official said. “Through PLUS NY, we hope aspiring finance professionals will gain fresh perspectives and build global connections, while contributing to a stronger financial ecosystem linking Korea with global markets.”
Hanwha Finance, a collective term for Hanwha Group’s financial affiliates, comprises Hanwha Life, Hanwha Life Financial Service, Hanwha Insurance, Hanwha Investment & Securities and Hanwha Asset Management.
