Estée Lauder Cos.has expanded the role of Brian Franz to include oversight of the company’s enterprise-wide transformation.
As chief technology and transformation officer, Franz will bring together initiatives that are focused on driving revenue and improving productivity, including the continued operationalization of the company’s enterprise business services program.
A key focus will be accelerating AI-enabled processes and building technology skills across the organization to introduce more efficient ways of working.
Franz, who joined the company in April 2025, will continue to oversee the technology, data and analytics function globally as part of this expanded role.
During his time at Estée Lauder, Franz has advanced the company’s strategic technology ecosystem, launching a global partnership with Shopify to unify its omnichannel commerce foundation and introduce optimized shopping experiences. He’s also played a major role in launching the company’s partnership with Accenture to standardize operations as Estée Lauder scales its digital transformation.
“Over the past 18 months, we have focused on building the technology-driven foundations that will enable the company’s future and, with that, have embedded an expectation among our team for constant evolution and improvement,” said Franz. “How we work, make decisions and ultimately serve our consumers will never be stagnant.”

Driving Digital Commerce Growth
In addition, the company named Amber English its president of digital and online for the Americas business and global Amazon lead. In the expanded role, English will oversee enterprise-wide efforts for the company’s global partnership with Amazon. Additionally, she manages the company’s global consumer experience, creator commerce and cross-market sharing of best practices.
English joined the company in December 2021 as SVP and general manager of e-commerce for North America. She led the company’s entrance into Amazon premium beauty and TikTok Shop U.S. Since then, she has built the capabilities and operating model to accelerate digital commerce across brand and retailer sites and social commerce in the Americas, helping to drive the company’s broader global acceleration of digital commerce.
Both Franz and English report to president and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie and will remain on the company’s executive leadership team.
