Costco opening in Ontario beach town, Buffalo store plans move forward
Costco is getting reading to open a warehouse in Wasaga Beach, an Ontario beach town.
The location, off Highway 26 near Mosley Street, is expected to launch this fall, according to a Blogto report.
Construction on the 162,000-square-foot location began in June. Costco projects it will bring over 370 jobs.
A second location in East Windsor, Ontario will break ground later this year, according to the news report.
A plan to bring a Costco to West Seneca, New York has gotten approval from the West Seneca Planning Board, according to a 2WGRZ report.
The warehouse is slated for the former Seneca Mall site which may also house 18 retailers.
Developers have stated the Costco project will take at least two years to complete with construction work to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
