AT&T Business introduced AT&T Video Intelligence with EdgeVis Cloud, a new managed cloud deployment option designed to help organizations scale and manage live video monitoring across a wide range of operating environments while reducing deployment complexity and infrastructure requirements.
As video becomes a larger part of business operations and safety, companies are looking for better ways to maintain visibility across their operations without adding unnecessary infrastructure or complexity. AT&T Video Intelligence with EdgeVis Cloud helps address that need by combining edge-based optimized video streaming, secure transmission, analytics and alerting with an AT&T-managed cloud backend.
The new offering builds on AT&T’s existing IoT Video Intelligence solution, which helps eligible business customers bring video and IoT analytics into a unified platform. With EdgeVis Cloud, AT&T adds a cloud-managed deployment model designed to make live video easier to deploy and scale across a wider range of locations and operating conditions. The solution helps customers securely transmit video with audio across available network connections, optimize performance based on bandwidth conditions, and share video streams or alerts with authorized users as needed.
For many organizations, video surveillance remains essential to helping protect assets, including people and locations. Legacy deployments can be limited by where cameras are installed due to fixed connectivity, limited bandwidth or how much infrastructure a customer wants to manage.
The offering includes a cloud-managed backend option that allows AT&T to host and manage video infrastructure. This can help simplify deployment and reduce maintenance requirements while preserving core AT&T Video Intelligence capabilities such as optimized video, security, analytics and alerting.
This new approach also supports use cases where organizations need to act quickly. The platform can notify authorized personnel by text message or email when activity requires attention. Users can access live video or apply analytics such as Safe Zone and Object Detector to support monitoring and response efforts.

As organizations continue to rely on video for operational safety and awareness, AT&T Video Intelligence with EdgeVis Cloud helps extend live visibility where it is needed most while simplifying infrastructure requirements and supporting more informed decision-making.
