American Airlines – a Headline Partner of the 20th anniversary edition of FTE Global, taking place in Dallas, Texas, on 8 to 10 September 2026 – is refreshing its onboard experience with a new menu of complimentary inflight snacks that offer a wider variety of sweet and savoury options to Main Cabin travellers. Guided by customer feedback and thoughtful testing, the updated line-up reflects how customers snack throughout the day while bringing greater choice and variety to the Main Cabin experience.
Morning flights will continue to feature the Biscoff cookie, a customer favourite, especially when paired with Lavazza coffee. For a balanced sweet-and-savoury start to the day, Goldfish will also now be offered. Later in the day, customers will continue to enjoy Goldfish and have the option of Tate’s Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and Peterson’s savoury and sweet snack mix. Customers will begin seeing these offerings on select flights in early October.
“Small details can make a meaningful difference in the travel experience, especially the familiar touches customers look forward to throughout their journey,” said American’s Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden. “As we looked at our snack offerings, we wanted to take the time to get this refresh right by listening to customer feedback and understanding what customers value most. This updated line-up brings together beloved favourites and new choices in a way that feels familiar, elevated and enjoyable.”
This refreshed selection of complimentary snacks continues American’s focus on elevating the inflight experience, building on recently announced premium dining enhancements, including centennial-inspired inflight menus and new California wines onboard. Snacks will rotate over time as American actively listens to customer feedback and reacts to customer preferences, so travellers can look forward to more choices in 2027.
Whether starting the day with coffee and a Biscoff cookie or enjoying a sweet-and-savoury snack later in the flight, customers across American’s network will soon have more to look forward to when the beverage cart rolls down the aisle.
