(KCTV) – Local residents enjoyed a sunny Saturday morning discovering new art and supporting local makers at a collaborative vintage <a href="https://bitcomme.com/ai-opens-new-market-for-saudi-tech-companies/” title=”AI Opens New Market for Saudi Tech Companies”>market hosted along Johnson Drive
Several neighborhood shops joined forces to organize the outdoor event, which featured an array of unique creations from local vendors.
Shoppers browsed through booths showcasing handmade art, vintage clothing, upcycled accessories, and one-of-a-kind trinkets. For the participating artists, the market was all about finding creative ways to breathe new life into old, discarded items.
“People go through things fast,” said vendor Anna Calvillo. “And when you can give something a new life, you have something that is not what everybody else buys at a box store. You can get things that are unique and you’re doing a lot to help the planet.”
Calvillo added that crafting and creating unique items serves as an excellent way to disconnect from screen time and break out of a “doomscrolling funk,” while helping people curate living spaces that reflect their individual personalities.
