AI is reshaping how work gets done, and some investors fear missing the next big productivity wave if they ignore it. With Edward Yardeni outlining a bullish case for a long AI-driven run in U.S. equities, tools that automate workflows and boost collaboration are getting fresh attention. This article unpacks three stocks linked to that theme, each with different exposure to the latest optimism around AI productivity software.
The three stocks below are just a starting sample, since the broader screen surfaced 16 more U.S. software companies tied to AI-enabled productivity and workflow themes that are not covered here but have equally compelling narratives based on the same filters. To go deeper on this idea, head straight into the U.S. AI-Driven Productivity Software and Workflow Automation screener to identify, analyze, and prioritize the highest conviction setups that fit your own approach.
Overview: Commvault Systems provides cyber resiliency software that helps enterprises protect, secure, and recover critical data, applications, and identity systems across hybrid and cloud environments, an essential foundation as businesses automate workflows and embed AI into everyday operations.
Operations: Commvault Systems generates its revenue from Software & Programming, which contributed about US$1.2b in the most recent period.
Investors interested in AI-driven productivity may want to keep an eye on Commvault Systems because it focuses on keeping new AI and automation data safe, recoverable, and compliant. Its cyber resilience platform, including offerings like Cleanroom Recovery, Cloud Rewind, Threatscan and planned Satori Cyber integration, is designed to automate backup, threat detection, and recovery workflows so IT teams can respond faster and with less manual effort. At the same time, the business is leaning further into SaaS and subscriptions, which can affect revenue quality but also brings execution risks related to large deal timing, margin pressure, and legal scrutiny over ARR disclosures. For readers, the key question is whether this combination of AI-tailored data protection and subscription growth justifies closer attention at this time.
Commvault Systems is quietly tying AI driven data protection to a heavier subscription mix, which could reshape how investors view its resilience and revenue quality. To see how that trade off really stacks up, start with the 2 key rewards and 2 important warning signs
Overview: Procore Technologies runs a cloud platform that helps owners, contractors, architects, and engineers manage construction projects in one place, digitizing workflows for planning, on site execution, collaboration, cost control, and AI assisted decision making in a sector that has historically relied on manual processes.
Operations: Procore Technologies generates about US$1.4b in revenue from Internet Software & Services, with roughly US$1.2b coming from the United States and the rest from international markets.
Procore Technologies is one of the clearest plays on AI-driven productivity in a real world industry, since its software sits on top of construction workflows from initial estimates through project execution and asset handover. The company is rolling out Procore AI agents and integrating DroneDeploy’s aerial data to help customers cut manual work, improve risk detection, and keep projects on budget, all supported by a large connected data environment that can make those tools more useful over time. The business is still loss making and leans heavily on North America, so any slowdown in construction activity or tougher competition could sting. For investors, the key focus is how this push into agentic AI might affect earnings quality and growth if execution holds up.
Procore Technologies is wiring AI into real world construction workflows, yet many investors still treat it like a generic software stock. Get the fuller context and earnings story in the analysis report for Procore Technologies
Overview: HubSpot runs a cloud based CRM platform that pulls marketing, sales, service, content, operations, commerce, and AI assistants like Breeze into one place so mid sized businesses can automate workflows, coordinate teams, and turn customer data into more productive engagement.
Operations: HubSpot generates about US$3.4b in revenue from Internet Software & Services.
HubSpot is worth a close look if you want direct exposure to AI powered productivity in customer facing workflows. The company now layers agents such as Breeze Assistant and Breeze Agents onto its multi hub CRM, aiming to move customers from simple email automation to what management calls institutional productivity, where processes run with far less manual effort. Profitability, a growing AI feature set, and a rising focus on larger customers are positives, but you are paying up for that story, and recent guidance cuts plus longer sales cycles show how sensitive results can be. The real question is whether HubSpot’s agent first approach and credit based AI pricing can turn that premium into lasting earnings power.
HubSpot’s agent-first CRM story is accelerating, yet many investors still seem to treat it like ordinary software. Get the full picture on margins, customer mix, and AI monetisation in the analysis report for HubSpot

The Foxhole
A landmark settlement is meant to punish Meta (META). If the 1998 tobacco deal is any guide, it might protect it.
Any moat with an opt-out clause for your competitors is just a fence around your own garden.
Worth looking at what previous legal action actually did to Meta rather than reaching for tobacco. The FTC’s record five billion dollar privacy fine in 2019 was met with the stock rising, because it came in below fears and removed an open question. GDPR was designed to constrain large platforms and increased their share of the European ad market, because compliance cost fell hardest on small intermediaries. The FTC’s antitrust case, the one that could genuinely have broken the company up, was decided in Meta’s favour last November. The only thing that ever meaningfully hurt the business was Apple changing a tracking default, and Meta out-spent that too, while the ad-tech firms that could not afford to rebuild disappeared. The pattern is not that Meta survives regulation. It is that regulation keeps costing its smaller competitors more.
Great earnings season, but are the earnings real?
At first glance, this was the strongest earnings season in years. But when you look at where the growth actually came from, the story splits into two very different pictures.
