RShas appointed Nisha Brown as vice president of marketing and digital experience for its Americas region, adding an executive with more than 15 years of B2B marketing, e-commerce and customer experience leadership to its regional executive team.
Based within RS Americas, Brown will lead the industrial products and services provider’s regional marketing strategy and execution. Her responsibilities include developing the company’s marketing capabilities, advancing digital transformation initiatives and strengthening customer engagement across channels.
The appointment puts Brown at the intersection of RS’s commercial and digital operations as industrial distributors increasingly use e-commerce, customer data and digital tools alongside traditional sales and service channels. RS Americas stocks more than 250,000 industrial and electronic products from more than 700 suppliers, making the digital customer experience an important part of how buyers search for, evaluate and purchase products.
“Nisha’s extensive background in digital and marketing transformation has resulted in a proven track record of bringing teams together while helping organizations grow and evolve their connections with customers,” said Jonathan Bennett, president of RS Americas. “Her experience leading customer-focused growth strategies and digital innovation makes her an outstanding addition to our executive leadership team.”
Brown joins RS from ODP Business Solutions, where she served as vice president of marketing and product brands and helped shape the organization’s marketing and growth strategies.
She previously held several senior leadership positions at Georgia-Pacific, including senior director of customer experience strategy and marketing and senior director of marketing for Packaging & Cellulose. Her work there included customer experience, brand, marketing and growth initiatives across multiple business segments.
Across her career, Brown has worked in manufacturing and distribution businesses within the building products and office products industries. Her experience spans B2B marketing, product management, e-commerce, digital transformation, brand strategy and go-to-market planning.
That background is relevant to RS as the company works to connect its physical distribution infrastructure with digital purchasing and service capabilities. Brown’s role will involve aligning marketing, digital and commercial teams around customer needs while supporting growth across the Americas.
RS operates as a global provider of products and services for industrial customers involved in designing, building and maintaining equipment and operations. The company operates in 33 markets and stocks more than 875,000 industrial and specialist products globally, while listing an additional five million products sourced from more than 2,500 suppliers.
In the Americas, its portfolio ranges from automation and control equipment to interconnect, passive, active and electromechanical components. The regional offering also includes more than 90,000 RS PRO products.
Brown earned an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Her experience has centered on using customer insights and digital capabilities to develop brands, improve customer experiences and support commercial performance.
Her appointment adds that expertise to an RS business operating at significant scale across industrial distribution. Parent company RS Group plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker RS1 and reported revenue of $3.87 billion for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
As vice president of marketing and digital experience, Brown will be responsible for helping translate that scale into a more coordinated customer experience across RS Americas’ marketing and digital channels while supporting the company’s regional growth strategy.
