WPP expands Enterprise Solutions Division with suite of AI tools
WPP has announced a major expansion of WPP Enterprise Solutions, its global business unit dedicated to AI-driven corporate transformation, as the advertising giant moves to solidify its role as a strategic growth partner for companies navigating the automated economy.
Introduced earlier this year as one of WPP’s four foundational operating divisions, the unit integrates capabilities across commerce, consulting, content transformation, CRM, data analytics, and technological engineering. The division already manages marketing modernization and structural transformation portfolios for a high-profile roster of global brands, including IKEA, Ford, L’Oréal, and Nestlé.
As part of the expansion, WPP Enterprise Solutions is launching a suite of proprietary, enterprise-grade AI tools designed to modernize customer engagement and streamline operations. This portfolio includes AI Transformation Consulting, a strategic advisory service focusing on technology architecture and the deployment of agentic AI systems, alongside Agentic Commerce, an innovative solution that converts brand and product information into machine-readable signals so products are optimized for discovery and recommendation by autonomous AI agents. Furthermore, the suite introduces Owned Intelligence to help brands clean and convert raw, first-party data into secure, proprietary, AI-ready corporate assets, while Adaptive, Real-Time Relationships acts as a dynamic personalization engine that marries real-time customer data with machine learning to strengthen consumer loyalty. Finally, the toolkit features Intelligent Content, a closed-loop, automated content engine designed to seamlessly plan, generate, and activate marketing creative at a global scale.
To ensure enterprise-scale cloud security and interoperability, WPP’s new AI applications are fully integrated with major global technology ecosystems.
The expansion is backed by formalized engineering partnerships with industry heavyweights including Adobe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Braze, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Shopify, alongside a curated network of specialized AI infrastructure providers. The unified roll-out signals WPP’s broader corporate shift toward high-margin technology consulting as traditional creative agency revenue structures continue to evolve.
