WME has elevated Sara Williams to Head of Music Marketing, the agency announced Aug. 27. She will continue to be based in Nashville and will now report to Kirk Sommer, Global Head of Music for WME.
Williams joined WME in 2019 and previously held the role of Tour Marketing Agent. During her time at the company she has worked with clients including Luke Combs, Duran Duran, Zach Bryan, Puscifer, Kane Brown, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Coheed and Cambria, Weezer, and more.
“Since joining WME, Sara has been an inspiring and trusted presence, built terrific relationships across the agency, and brought fresh thinking to our artists’ touring business,” Sommer said in a statement. “She is a natural fit to run our music marketing group and we’re excited to continue growing this offering under her leadership.”
Williams added: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take on this role and expand on the exceptional foundation our world-class marketing team has built across the globe. With a roster as unparalleled as WME’s, this is an exciting time to grow our department and elevate the strategic work our team does to connect our clients with their fans.”
Williams’ new role will have her overseeing “the full music marketing team of more than 20 people, who collectively shape campaigns across the WME roster and provide expertise in marketing, ticketing, partnerships, branding, and media.”
She was named to Pollstar’s Women of Live in 2025 and earlier this year she appeared on the Pollstar Live! panel “Marketing to Today’s Live Music Fans.”
Williams started her career in radio marketing and promotions and prior to joining WME she led the marketing department at AEG Presents Rocky Mountains in Denver.
Today’s announcement from WME adds that Levi Jackson, who previously oversaw WME’s music marketing division, has moved onto WME’s Brand Strategy team as VP, Music. Jackson, who will report to group head Robbie Henchman, “will continue to work across music marketing, utilizing his expertise to support WME music clients and brand clients who are looking to activate within music.”
