NEW YORK – September 10, 2026 –Winston Taylor announced today the addition of Christopher Pristouris as a partner in the firm’s Private Capital & Funds Practice in New York.
Chris advises private fund sponsors across the full life cycle of their investment management businesses. He counsels clients on adviser structuring, registration, and ongoing governance, as well as fund formation and fundraising. He also handles regulatory, compliance, and SEC examination and enforcement matters arising under the U.S. Investment Advisers Act, the U.S. Securities Act, and related U.S. federal securities laws. Chris’ practice spans a wide range of fund strategies and asset classes, including private equity, private credit, venture capital, early-stage and growth-stage investments, real estate, fund of funds, secondary funds, and hedge funds.
Chris joins Winston Taylor as the firm continues to expand its critical transactions capabilities. His arrival follows several partner-level additions, including Shan Haider in the Finance Practice and Zila Acosta-Grimes in the Financial Innovation & Regulation Practice and Digital Assets Group in New York, as well as David Love and Lee Discher in the Finance Practice and Patrick Valenti in the Private Capital & Funds Practice Group in Chicago.
“This is an exciting period of growth for Winston Taylor’s private investment funds practice, which is particularly well positioned to thrive in today’s dynamic fund formation and secondaries markets,” said Chris. “The firm provides an exceptional platform for serving sponsors in today’s private capital landscape. I look forward to working with the team to advise clients as they navigate those challenges and capitalize on new opportunities.”
“Chris’ sophisticated regulatory experience strengthens our ability to advise sponsors on adviser regulatory and fund formation matters, as well as the increasingly complex general partner-led liquidity transactions,” said Transactions Department Co-Chair Timothy Kincaid.
“His arrival complements our leading transactional practice and deepens the seamless counsel we provide to clients across the private capital landscape,” said Transactions Department Co-Chair Brad Vaiana.
“Chris is another significant addition to our New York office and reflects the momentum we continue to build through strategic growth across key practice areas,” said New York Office Managing Partner Eva Cole. “His arrival further reinforces our position as a trusted advisor to sponsors and investors across the full spectrum of private investment activity.”
