Vishal Wadhwa has been elevated to senior vice president – brand & digital marketing at SBI Card, where he will lead brand, digital marketing, and consumer research.
Wadhwa has been with SBI Card for over seven years. He joined the company in June 2019 as vice president and has been heading brand communication and research, managing teams responsible for communication across the company’s credit card portfolio.
Before joining SBI Card, Wadhwa spent six years at Vodafone Idea, where he served as brand vertical head from July 2013 to June 2019. During his stint, he worked across the Vodafone and Idea brands.
Prior to this, Wadhwa spent over eight years at Tata Docomo, serving as senior manager and marcom head from December 2004 to June 2013.
He began his career at LG Electronics India, where he worked as marketing manager from April to December 2004, handling ATL and BTL activities in Punjab.
In his new role at SBI Card, Wadhwa will oversee brand, digital marketing and consumer research.
