OneShop retail platform, developed by One Mount Group, has ceased operations after about eight months, marking another retreat from Vietnam’s increasingly competitive business-to-business e-commerce market.
According to an official announcement, OneShop stopped operating in early July 2026, just months after its launch in October 2025.
One Mount said the closure was part of a strategic adjustment following six years of efforts to digitize Vietnam’s traditional retail sector.
The group said it will now prioritize connecting and developing ecosystems spanning finance, real estate, retail, healthcare and lifestyle, with technology, data and artificial intelligence at the core.
Rather than continuing to operate as a B2B distribution platform, One Mount plans to expand digital platforms covering areas from supply-chain management to merchant solutions, while integrating them with B2C platforms to connect value chains directly with consumers.
OneShop was officially launched by One Mount Distribution, a subsidiary of One Mount Group, on October 27, 2025. The platform was positioned as the next stage of VinShop, a digital platform for traditional grocery stores launched in 2020.
At launch, One Mount said OneShop inherited VinShop’s technology and merchant network, with a focus on helping Vietnamese shopkeepers improve their businesses.
Through the platform, retailers could place orders, manage revenue and cash flow, and access financial services from Techcombank (HoSE: TCB), including cashless payment solutions and short-term working-capital loans.
The platform also enabled distributors and brands to issue invoices directly to stores, while retailers could issue sales invoices to consumers. Those functions became increasingly relevant as Vietnamese household businesses adapted to stricter requirements on supply-chain transparency and electronic invoicing, following the abolition of the presumptive tax regime from January 1, 2026, the firm said.
Before being rebranded and upgraded into OneShop, VinShop had built a sizeable network. According to company data, the platform served more than 120,000 stores, connected about 500 brands and suppliers, and offered 10,000 products nationwide.
OneShop had been identified as one of One Mount’s three strategic platforms, alongside OneU and OneHousing. OneU focuses on lifestyle services within the Techcombank-One Mount ecosystem, while OneHousing provides services related to real estate transactions, <a href="https://bitcomme.com/william-blair-investment-management-llc-acquires-shares-of-26046-salesforce-inc-crm/” title=”William Blair Investment Management LLC Acquires Shares of 26,046 Salesforce Inc. $CRM”>investment, and property services.
OneShop’s short-lived operation highlights the challenges facing B2B e-commerce platforms serving Vietnam’s fragmented traditional retail sector.
The platform is not the first player to leave the market. Telio, a B2B e-commerce startup, was dissolved in late 2024 after facing funding difficulties. Kilo, which connected small retailers with wholesalers, also ceased operations in Vietnam in late 2023.
