Unitech Training Academy announced it now offers a fully online Cybersecurity Operations and Risk Management program for Louisiana residents
The nine-month program trains students in network defense, threat detection, incident response, and cloud security without requiring an on-campus commute.
“Technology is changing nearly every industry, and we want Louisiana residents to have opportunities to develop the skills needed to be part of that future,” said Dr. Noah Brandon, president and CEO of Unitech Training Academy. “Whether someone lives in one of our larger cities or a small rural community, they deserve the opportunity to prepare for a new career.”
The 900-hour course features 430 hours of hands-on virtual lab work. Students build a professional portfolio through real-world security projects and prepare for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Enrollees can also receive job placement assistance, including resume reviews and interview coaching.
Program organizers said applicants must live in Louisiana, hold a high school diploma or GED, and pass an admissions entrance test. Financial aid is available for qualified students.
For more information residents can find registration details on the Unitech Training Academy website.
