Trinity Capital has committed $20 million in growth capital to ABM Respiratory Care, a medical technology company developing airway clearance, ventilation, and connected respiratory care products.
ABM Respiratory Care develops technologies for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Its BiWaze platform includes systems intended to support airway clearance, lung expansion, and secretion management in hospital and home-care environments.
The company’s broader development strategy also includes connected-care capabilities intended to support patient engagement and give care teams greater visibility into the use of respiratory therapies.
ABM Respiratory Care plans to use the Trinity financing to accelerate commercial expansion, strengthen its presence in global markets, and continue investing in product innovation, clinical research, and connected respiratory technologies.
The investment comes through Trinity Capital’s Healthcare & Life Sciences platform. Trinity also operates lending verticals focused on technology, equipment finance, sponsor finance, and asset-based lending.
Since its founding in 2008, Trinity said it has deployed more than $6.2 billion across over 490 investments as of June 30, 2026. The alternative asset manager specializes in private credit structures for growth-oriented companies seeking tailored financing.
ABM Respiratory Care was founded in 2017 and is focused on developing respiratory care technologies that can be used both inside and outside hospitals. Its products are designed to support breathing, airway clearance, oxygen exchange, and communication between patients and healthcare providers.
“For patients with compromised respiratory systems, clearing the lungs and breathing comfortably takes real effort and the right technology. We believe ABM Respiratory Care builds that technology, and we are proud to support the team as they work to bring it to more patients around the world.”
