TechCrunch Unveils 200 Early Stage Startups for Startup Battlefield 2026

From climate technology to space systems, the selected founders represent a broad snapshot of where early-stage innovation is heading next.
TechCrunch has unveiled Startup Battlefield 200 2026 – a list of 200 early-stage startups selected from thousands of applications from countries around the world. The selection includes companies working across technology, industry, healthcare, and consumer sectors.
The participants will showcase their solutions at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 conference, which will take place from October 13 to 15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. On the first day of the event, organizers will announce the 20 Startup Battlefield finalists. They will compete for $100,000 in equity-free funding and the Disrupt Cup.
Startup Battlefield 200 includes projects in artificial intelligence, climate technology, biotechnology, healthcare, fintech, robotics, space, defense, and e-commerce. Google for Startups and SAP are the program’s premier sponsors.

Startup Battlefield has a long history. Companies that have previously participated in the program include Dropbox, Cloudflare, and Discord. Startup Battlefield participants have collectively raised more than $32 billion in funding and completed 250 exits.
Startups that applied to Startup Battlefield 2026 will receive the selection results by email. Due to the high volume of applications, organizers will not respond to individual inquiries about application status.
