The Center for Internet Security is partnering with OpenAI on a pilot program to test how artificial intelligence can help state and local governments strengthen their cybersecurity defenses. 

Grand Theft Auto VI, widely heralded as the game event of the decade, took a significant hit last week after a cybercriminal sent much of the internet into pandemonium after publishing gameplay footage a week before the game’s publisher planned to reveal core portions of the game to the public.

Japanese cloud and data center provider Sakura Internet is investigating unauthorized access to a sales management system that may have exposed personal and contract information linked to as many as 1.36 million customer accounts. The company says the final impact is under investigation and large-scale data exfiltration hasn’t been confirmed.
