Robbery at M&T Bank in downtown York ends with arrest and recovery of stolen money
A robbery at the M&T Bank on East Market Street in Downtown York on Wednesday afternoon resulted in the suspect’s arrest and the recovery of all stolen money, officials said.

The suspect was arrested after foot chase
York City Police Commissioner Michael Muldrow confirmed the robbery occurred around 3:40 p.m.
He said an arrest was made following a foot chase, and all of the stolen money was recovered.
Captain Daniel Lentz identified the suspect as Wesley Casaul.
Officials say the suspect was unarmed
Lentz said Casaul was not armed during the robbery but still demanded money. He added that he was unsure how much money was stolen but reiterated that it was all recovered.
Muldrow said he does not believe anyone was injured during the incident.
