CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – A Greater Cincinnati staffing firm is suing indoor vertical farming startup 80 Acres for a nearly $700,000 sum, claiming invoices for <a href="https://bitcomme.com/best-online-bookkeeping-services-of-2026/” title=”Best Online Bookkeeping Services of 2026″>services dating back to this spring remain unpaid.
The Job Center LLC, a Symmes Township-based staffing and recruiting firm, filed an 18-page complaint Aug. 7 in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court accusing the now-defunct Greater Cincinnati startup of breach of contract. It claims 80 Acres owes $687,240 for services provided, plus interest and fees, and that 80 Acres has outstanding invoices dating back to April.
The case has not yet been assigned, and 80 Acres has 28 days from its summons date to file an answer to the complaint. The Cincinnati Business Courier has reached out to 80 Acres for further comment but has not yet received a response.
