Shopify has released the Shopcast Apple TV app, turning the company’s set-top box platform into a live dashboard for merchants, shops and office teams. The app displays sales, orders, units sold and average order value, with additional views for products, retail activity and customer geography.
The Shopcast Apple TV app coverage comes from a new tvOS listing spotted by 9to5Mac. Shopify describes Shopcast as a way to follow store performance on a display designed for an office, retail space or team room. It is a viewing tool rather than a replacement for Shopify’s admin tools: merchants still manage products, orders and settings in Shopify.
