Tenn. (WMC) -All Shelby County Clerk’s offices will close early Friday, Oct. 9 for mandatory customer service training
Offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to noon, then close for the remainder of the day. Regular hours resume Monday, Oct. 12.
During the closure, online services will remain available.
The service training coincides with Customer Service Week and is part of County Clerk Dr. LaSonya Hall’s push for improving the customer experience.
“Providing excellent service requires more than asking employees to do better. We must give them the training, tools and clear expectations to deliver better,” Hall said. “Bringing our entire team together for training while maintaining daily operations is challenging, so we appreciate the public’s patience as we make this important investment in our employees and the citizens they serve.”
Residents are encouraged to plan visits accordingly.
