Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), a global construction, property and management consultancy, has appointed Justin York as Head of Data Centers, strengthening the firm’s leadership as it expands its mission-critical infrastructure practice.
In the new role, York will lead the strategic growth of RLB’s data center business and work with clients on projects across the full development lifecycle.
His areas of expertise include program management, project controls, commercial strategy, procurement, cost management, capital planning, data analytics and digital transformation. York has also led multidisciplinary teams responsible for global, multibillion-dollar portfolios.
“Justin is an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” said Paraic Morrissey, senior vice president at RLB. “His experience leading complex global programs, combined with his strategic mindset and passion for developing people, aligns perfectly with RLB’s vision for the future of our data center practice.”
In addition to overseeing major projects, York has focused throughout his career on building teams, promoting knowledge sharing and adopting emerging technologies and modern construction methods. He has also worked with organizations to use data to improve decision-making, efficiency and program performance.
The appointment comes as investment in data centers continues to accelerate, driven in part by growing demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure, cloud computing and other digital services.
RLB said it is expanding its mission-critical capabilities to address increasingly sophisticated digital infrastructure projects and help clients manage complex programs as the sector grows.
“The parallel momentum of RLB’s growth and the evolution of the data center industry makes this an incredibly exciting time to join RLB,” York said. “I’m eager to dive in with our talented teams to scale our data center capabilities and deliver the high-impact programs supporting tomorrow’s digital infrastructure.”
York’s appointment is part of RLB’s broader investment in talent and expertise serving the data center and mission-critical construction markets.
