The news came after the Duke of Sussex made a striking return to his homeland, Britain, last month, along with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children,Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. In the meantime, Harry reportedly set up his eco-travel project back in 2019, right before he and his wife stepped down from their roles as working royals and moved to California, US, in 2020.

The UK-based eco-travel project of Prince Harry, Travalyst, has reportedly shown big losses of approximately $17K. As a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex has set the record straight about his travel project suffering losses
Per the publication, the spokesperson said, “It was a planned and small loss of £13,000, very typical of a lean, not-for-profit organization, making a critical investment for the future.” The spokesperson also explained, “Travalyst remains confident in its financial oversight and strength of its partnerships.”
Meanwhile, the news outlet further reported that the news about this eco-travel project loss came after Harry lost his much-talked-about privacy legal case against Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Daily Mail and Mail. According to the publication, the Duke of Sussex and the other claimants, including Elton John, Baroness Lawrence, Liz Hurley, Simon Hughes, Sadie Frost, and David Furnish, have been facing a lawsuit bill of up to approximately $45.83 million.
In the meantime, per the news outlet Harry Eco-travel project, Travalyst has been backed by companies, including Trip Advisor, Visa, Booking.com, and Expedia. In 2024, the project reportedly showed a profit, with approximately $184.5K cash in the account. According to the publication, the Duke of Sussex’s travel project also paid an approximate $118.04K tax bill.
