InstaAstro, an online astrology and spiritual wellness platform has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the company’s founders.
The Noida-based startup said it will use the funding to expand in regional and international markets, strengthen its AI products and grow its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce businesses.
InstaAstro plans to use AI for sentiment analysis, which it said could help astrologers provide more contextual consultations, as well as multilingual tools aimed at improving consultations across different languages.
“We’re committed to building the world’s most trusted spiritual platform by prioritising quality over quantity,” founder and CEO Nitin Verma said.
Founded by Verma in 2021, InstaAstro began as an on-demand astrology consultation app and has since expanded into services including tarot, numerology, vastu, Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce.
The startup said it has about 12 million registered users across 183 countries and more than 5,000 verified experts on its platform.
International markets account for approximately 25% of its revenue, while Tier 1 cities make up most of its user base in India.
InstaAstro reported revenue of Rs 111.26 crore in FY26, more than double the Rs 52 crore recorded in FY25. The startup said its annualised revenue run rate had crossed Rs 200 crore.
The latest funding comes more than two years after InstaAstro raised Rs 18.5 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Artha Venture Fund. It had previously raised Rs 3.2 crore in seed funding in November 2021.
Anirudh A Damani, managing partner at Artha Venture Fund, said the company’s focus on verified astrologers and quality measures had helped encourage repeat use of the platform.
“The first consultation is marketing. The second one is a business,” Damani said.
InstaAstro said it plans to develop a broader platform covering consultations, religious rituals and spiritual commerce as it expands its presence in India and overseas.
The funding comes amid continued investment in India’s digital astrology and spiritual services sector.
