Neno has raised a €6.6 million Seed round to continue building its AI-native accounting software and services platform for European businesses. The financing was backed by AlleyCorp, firstminute capital and Motive Partners, alongside angel investors from companies including Mollie, Hugging Face, Coinbase, Deel, Juni, PayPal, Navro and Miro.
Neno has assembled a fintech and corporate finance team with experience from Mollie, Adyen, bunq, Plaid, BDO, EY and Deloitte around the goal of rebuilding accounting software and services around modern technology and workflows.
The company said it onboarded 48 new customers in July, bringing its customer base to more than 180 businesses, while month-over-month revenue is growing approximately 55%.
Neno is working toward an accounting model where companies can close their books in days rather than weeks, understand their cash position in real time and receive proactive answers and financial insights.
Its accountants work directly with engineers, creating a feedback loop intended to continuously improve both the software and service layer.
Customers include Dutch SaaS, ecommerce, agency and restaurant businesses such as SOUS, Klabu, YC-backed Rally & Airwave, SKUU, FeedbackFruits, Rosel, Scarpetta, The Circle, Manna, Novem and Rime Finance.
Founder Nick Knuppe is also investing in Neno Labs and ambient AI as the company expands its product and technology capabilities.
