Miss. (WJTV) – Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) is working to rebuild their website after a cyber attack to the site’s host

“Our hosting partner continues to make progress in restoring affected websites and recovering website content and functionality. Their technical teams are actively evaluating affected files and utilizing available recovery methods to safely restore services. Because the extent of the impact varies, some portions of the website may require additional time and effort to fully recover,” said MVSU officials said.
MVSU is partnered with U.S. NEXT to host their admissions website. The design, hosting and IT services company recently suffered a cyber attack that affected Madison County’s website on October 9, 2026.
No timeline has been provided by MVSU for when their website will be restored.
