The new ultrawide monitor is designed around “Mac” workflows and brings the latest QD-OLED panel for superior visuals.
MSI Launches PRO MAX 341QPXW14G Monitor for Increased Productivity and Multi-Tasking, Featuring Excellent Color Reproduction and Modern Connectivity
Most of the time, monitor vendors release monitors for “gaming”, and only some of them occasionally launch monitors for work. Today, MSI has proudly presented one of its best-ever high-end productivity monitors called PRO MAX 341QPXW14G. Long name aside, this monitor is specially designed for Mac workflows and offers leading specifications for multitasking.
The PRO MAX 341QPXW14G is a 34-inch Ultrawide monitor that boasts a 3440 x 1440p resolution for sharper visuals. The ultrawide form factor enables users to divide the display into multiple segments for better multitasking and improved productivity. This display uses the latest 5th QD-OLED panel from Samsung that uses Penta Tandem architecture, which uses a five-layer blue-emitting structure. This technology delivers sharper text, reduces color fringing, and improves OLED lifespan significantly.
The color reproduction is also excellent, thanks to Pantone and Pantone SkinTone Validation. Also, it’s calibrated to Delta E < 2 accuracy, making it perfect for color-critical tasks, while maintaining vibrant visuals through a wide color gamut, including color spaces such as 99% DCI-P3 and 97.4% Adobe RGB. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified as well, enhancing contrast and improving HDR performance for vivid visuals.
Out of the box, the monitor can run at up to 144 Hz refresh rate and operates at just 0.03 ms response time, making it perfect for immersive gaming as well. However, it’s specially designed for work and delivers smarter Mac integration through the MSI M-Mate app. Also, it’s one of the handful of monitors that bring the KVM 2.0 feature to control three devices with a single set of peripherals, making it easier to work on multiple systems. For connectivity, the monitor boasts dual USB Type-C ports and supports up to 98W power delivery.
MSI hasn’t disclosed the pricing or availability of the monitor yet, but it will definitely sit in the premium segment, particularly due to the 5th gen QD-OLED panel.
