Daniel Dubowski, Marriott International Global Chief Information Security Officer
Marriott International has appointed Daniel Dubowski Global Chief Information Security Officer. In his role, Dubowski oversees the company’s information security program and works with teams across the organization to continue maturing its security capabilities as Marriott faces new challenges and opportunities.
Prior to joining Marriott, Dubowski served as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at Hertz. Previously, he was Chief Information Security Officer, USIS, at Equifax, following several security leadership roles with the company.
Earlier in his career, Dubowski spent more than four years at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), serving as Director of Global IT Security and Director of Security Assurance. His experience at IHG spanned global cybersecurity operations, security engineering, identity and access management, data security, security monitoring, incident response, and information security governance. He began his career in information technology and security roles at Creative Solutions In HealthCare, D.R. Horton, and Cambridge Homes.
Reflecting on his new role in a LinkedInpost, Dubowski said, “This is an amazing intersection of two passions, Security and Travel, which have fueled my entire career and personal life. I couldn’t imagine being at a better place to continue both.”
