She recently concluded her role as Government Information Technology and Security Strategy and Architecture Office Manager, through which she helped position Intel’s internal business functions to pursue government contracts by aligning security controls, compliance expectations, and enterprise architecture with strategic business priorities. Her continued work requires close collaboration across business, technology, security, architecture and compliance teams, as well as the ability to connect cybersecurity execution with enterprise outcomes.
Ms. Perez is especially recognized for her conviction that cybersecurity should function not as a barrier, but as a business enabler. Before entering the technology industry, Ms. Perez developed a strong foundation in public service, law, policy and criminal justice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, majoring in Criminal Justice with minors in Spanish and Political Science. Her early public service experience includes serving as a legislative intern for Senator Charles E. Schumer in the U.S. Senate and as a congressional intern through the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. She graduated cum laude and was a member of Delta Zeta, Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of Omega National Honor Society. Ms. Perez also holds a Master of Science in IT Auditing and Cybersecurity from Temple University. Her academic background in criminal justice, policy, cybersecurity, and audit continues to shape her ability to lead with discipline, integrity, and a deep understanding of risk.
Her professional development reflects a continued commitment to high-performance leadership. In 2024, she completed McKinsey & Company’s Management Accelerator Program. She also completed Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications through UC Berkeley Executive Education. In 2025, she completed the Cyber Academy Program through the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Ms. Perez holds multiple credentials through The Open Group and received The Open Group Co-Author Award in 2023. She has contributed to notable architecture publications, including the TOGAF® Series Guide: Business Capability Planning and the IT@Intel publication Prioritizing Investments and Maximizing Security Using Capability-Based Planning.
