GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Market America Worldwide today announced the completion of the sale of the SHOP.COM domain name to Shopify, marking a significant milestone in the company’s digital evolution and the beginning of a new chapter for the 34-year-old global business.
The transaction comes as Market America brings its commerce ecosystem back under the name that started it all.
On September 22, Market America launched a completely reimagined MarketAmerica.com, built on Shopify and designed to unite the company’s exclusive brands, products, technology, shopping experience and UnFranchise® Business within one primary global digital destination.
The move represents more than a change in web address. It is part of a broader transformation of Market America designed to simplify the customer experience, accelerate innovation and give entrepreneurs more powerful technology for building their businesses in a rapidly changing digital economy.
