“My Genie Secretary” actor Lee Seo-jin took a firm stance about doing a bed scene with a man but changed his tune and provoked laughter when a huge appearance fee was mentioned.
On the 23rd episode of the SBS variety show “My Genie Secretary,” actor Son Suk-ku appeared as a guest and engaged in lively banter with Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu.
Son Suk-ku revealed that he had performed a same-sex bed scene while filming an independent film in the past. He explained, “I shot it when I was doing an independent film a long time ago, and it was almost seven minutes without cutting.”
Hearing this, Lee Seo-jin said, “Seven minutes? That’s really long,” unable to hide his surprise. Son Suk-ku added behind-the-scenes detail, “They edited it later and cut it all down. They attached about 20 seconds.”
Listening to the story, Kim Kwang-kyu said, “Just imagining it is hard. Kissing another man,” and asked Lee Seo-jin, “Seojin, have you ever done it?” Lee Seo-jin replied, “With a man? Are you crazy?” prompting the set to erupt in laughter.
Son Suk-ku suggested that it might be possible if it was for the work, saying, “If it’s a really good work, you have to do it.” But Lee Seo-jin drew a firm line, saying, “I won’t do it.”
Kim Kwang-kyu went one step further and asked, “Even if they give you an Academy Award?” Lee Seo-jin replied, “I won’t do it. I don’t even want an Academy Award,” repeatedly refusing and adding to the laughter.
Then Kim Kwang-kyu presented a shocking condition: $1 billion, which is about 140 billion won. Lee Seo-jin, who had earlier taken a firm stance, immediately responded, “Oh, of course I’d do it,” causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Kim Kwang-kyu laughed, saying, “It’s <a href="https://bitcomme.com/menas-scaleups-have-a-capital-stack-problem/” title=”MENA's scaleups have a capital stack problem”>capitalism after all.” Lee Seo-jin playfully added, “Well, I’ll do it for about 10 minutes,” keeping the cheerful mood going.
