Fla. — The Lady Lake Farmers and Crafts Market will return this fall with more vendors, live music and new special events
The market will reopen Tuesday, Oct. 6, and continue every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rolling Acres Sports Complex, 260 Rolling Acres Road.
Opening day will feature live music from Tyler Glynn and vendors selling fresh produce, cheeses, breads, local honey, ice cream, coffee, handmade crafts and other specialty items.
60 regular vendors planned
Town officials said the market will feature 60 regular vendors this season, giving shoppers a more consistent lineup from week to week.
The market will also offer opportunities to win Market Bucks that can be spent with participating vendors.
Special events planned during the season include returning Strawberry Festival and Valentine’s Market celebrations, along with new events such as a Pet Costume Contest and Wheel of Fortune Day.
“We’ve really focused on making the market an experience — not just a place to shop,” Event Planner Amy Alicea said.
Market accessible by golf cart, bicycle
The market is accessible by golf cart, bicycle, motorized scooter and wheelchair.
Officials said vendor spaces for the upcoming season are already full and warned prospective vendors to be cautious of online scams or people claiming to collect fees on behalf of the town.
