Jung Woo-joo, Hwang Joon-seo, Park Joon-young (back number 96), and Kang Kyung-woo (Hanwha Eagles) will head to Japan to improve their skills.
Hanwha announced on the 14th that it will send a team to a specialized training facility in Japan to improve the skills of promising pitchers. Four pitchers, Jung Woo-joo, Hwang Joon-seo, Park Joon-young, and Kang Kyung-woo, are eligible for dispatch.
The dispatch was carried out based on the training results confirmed by the first dispatch (Kim Seo-hyun, Kwon Min-gyu) in July.
They will depart for Japan on the 14th and hold a customized training program at the Next Base Athletics Lab located in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, Japan from the 15th to November 3rd.
Dispatch players plan to use advanced data to precisely analyze individual pitching movements and focus on establishing efficient pitching movements and stable pitching balance to suit physical characteristics.
Hanwha explained, “We plan to improve the skills of promising pitchers through this dispatch, while strengthening the player development system based on advanced data to prepare for the 2027 season.”
